The West Sydney Razorbacks have scored a huge 97-49 victory over the Brisbane Spinning Bullets at the Bankstown Basketball Stadium on Saturday night, in round eight of the National Wheelchair Basketball League (NWBL) competition.

The Razorbacks showed little pity on the NWBL cellar dwellers, racing away to lead 24-8 and 48-17 at the first two breaks in play.
Head coach Sonia Healey took the opportunity to run the bench for an extended period, with rookies Col Smith and Paul Ashley revelling in the additional court time.
The Razorbacks host the "Highlube" Wollongong Roller Hawks at the Bankstown Basketball Stadium this Saturday night in the final round of the regular season, in a game which will be the undisputed "Game of the Round".
The Roller Hawks took advantage of a depleted Razorbacks line-up to grab a 96-58 win in the first meeting between the two teams this season and the Razorbacks would need to win by more than 38 points to overtake the Roller Hawks for second spot on the competition ladder.
Razorbacks assistant coach Rob Megarrity is realistic enough to know that scenario is unlikely but indicated it will be "game on" this Saturday night, with both teams eager to gain a psychological advantage on the eve of the playoffs.

West Sydney Razorbacks 97 (Darren Skuse 34 points, 17 boards; Troy Sachs 25 points, 17 boards; Nick Taylor 12 points, 5 assists) def Brisbane Spinning Bullets 49 (Adrian King 16 points; Adam Bates 8 points, 8 boards; Jace Clare 8 points).

The Wenty Leagues Wheelkings have their final opportunity to claim a playoff berth this weekend (Aug 31-Sep 1), when they head west to both South Australia and Western Australia for the final round of the NWBL competition.
The Wheelkings must win at least one game on the toughest road trip of the season to claim the final spot in the playoff series, which will also be held in Perth over the weekend of September 14-16.
Australian representatives Jeremy Van Asperen and Bill Latham will undoubtedly be given the lion's share of the workload this weekend, with the two high-pointers needing to accept full responsibility for their team's destiny.
The Wheelkings play the Adelaide Thunder at 7pm on Saturday night, then pack up and head further west to meet the undefeated Perth Wheelcats in Perth at 7pm on Saturday night (Sep 1).
